BIP Research has earned a reputation for reliability through the successful delivery of ambitious, technically demanding projects.

Over 35 years at the core of what matters.

Founded in 1976 as the Bureau of Professional Interviewers, the company evolved into BIP Research, transitioning from a data collection firm to a provider of integrated research solutions.

In 1988, Lucie Leclerc took the helm, leading BIP Research through a period of sustained growth and establishing it as a key player in social, political, and marketing research. In 2023, the leadership team expanded with the arrival of two new partners, Félix and Patrick, bringing renewed momentum and a vision for the future.

Thanks to a diverse clientele and projects across a wide range of sectors, BIP Research has developed deep expertise, supporting clients at every stage of their projects with precision and responsiveness. We specialize in surveys and marketing research to deliver reliable data that guides smart decision-making.

LUCIE LECLERC

PRESIDENT AND CEO
PRINCIPAL PARTNER

Lucie Leclerc has led BIP Research since 1988 with the precision and passion of a maestro — no surprise given her musical background. Trained at the Quebec Conservatory of Music, Laval University, and the University of Montreal, she also studied law, communication, and marketing, equipping her with strong leadership and management skills.
Lucie has overseen nearly 6,000 survey projects, many of them notable in the field of applied research. In 2006, she presented the longitudinal study “I Am, I Will Be” at an international conference in Oxford in partnership with the Quebec Institute of Statistics.
Recognized in both business and philanthropic circles, Lucie was a finalist for the Quebec Women’s Business Awards in 2012, listed among the “Must-Knows” by Premières en affaires in 2014, and honored by the ISQ at the ACFAS Congress in 2016.
She has served on several boards, including the Foundation of the Quebec Conservatory of Music, where she led a successful fundraising campaign. She now sits on the advisory board of BNP Philanthropy and chairs the scholarship committee at the Montreal Conservatory of Music.
