Our Commitment to Information Security

Updated: May 15, 2025

At BIP Recherche, we have always considered data security a priority. Achieving ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification confirms our commitment to protecting sensitive information — both our own and our clients’ — through a robust, auditable information security management system (ISMS).

This international certification is official recognition that our processes, tools, and organizational culture meet the industry’s highest standards for information protection.

⚖️ What is ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification?

ISO 27001 is the world’s leading standard for information security management systems. It aims to protect three key dimensions of information:

  • Confidentiality : preventing unauthorized access to data.
  • Integrity : ensuring information is not modified or altered.
  • Availability : ensuring information is accessible to the right people at the right time.

To achieve this certification, BIP Recherche implemented a series of policies, processes, and controls that are audited annually by an independent body.

🌍 A certification that benefits our clients

This is more than recognition: it is a tool for trust. Our clients can be assured that:

  • Their confidential data is handled with the highest level of rigour.
  • Our systems are protected against cyber threats.
  • Our practices comply with laws such as Quebec’s Law 25 and the GDPR in Europe.
  • Secure governance is applied at every level of our operations.

🔒 Scope of the certification

  • BIP Recherche’s ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification covers the following activities:
  • Data collection (telephone, online, in person);
  • Management and operation of a respondent panel;
  • Processing, analysis, and archiving of research data;
